These were all acquired from 96 well plates using the ImageXpress Micro System. The top one is nuclei (blue), ASGPR1 (green). The other 2 are nuclei (blue), mitochondria (red), cell bodies (green).

How are these files organized and identified for Well ID reference?
Is there an MPI file to manage them?

For the ImageXpress Micro and Ultra systems which run with MetaXpress software, the files are managed by the MDCStore database which stores information about the specific image location. The individual images also have information about the well and site and plate name in the filename and in the meta data. We do not use MPI files.
